Malvaviscus penduliflorus or M. arboreus 'mexicanus', which have much larger, drooping flowers, though both are in the same hibiscus family and prized by hummingbirds. Think of the standard Turk's Cap as smaller, more compact with upright blooms, and the Mexican variety as a giant with long, pendulous, sleepy-looking red flowers.
