Trees/Shrubs
Trees and shrubs form the structural backbone of the landscape, providing scale, definition, and long-term beauty. Our selection focuses on varieties chosen for strength, adaptability, and reliable performance in our region.
Whether used to anchor a design, create privacy, or add seasonal interest, trees and shrubs offer lasting value when planted and established properly.
Planting Guide
Successful trees and shrubs begin with thoughtful planting. Start by digging a hole two to three times wider than the root ball and no deeper than the plant’s original growing depth. Position the plant so the top of the root ball sits level with or slightly above the surrounding soil.
At planting, we recommend using Fertilome Root Stimulator to encourage strong root development and reduce transplant stress. Water thoroughly after planting to settle soil around the roots, and continue consistent watering during the establishment period.
Finish by applying mulch around the base—keeping it pulled back from the trunk—to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. With proper planting and early care, trees and shrubs establish more quickly and develop into healthy, resilient plants for years to come.
