Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snow Queen' -- Pronunciation: hye-DRAYN-jee-uh kwerk-i-FOL-i-a
DESCRIPTION    Large, dense, white flower clusters are held upright above the dark green oak leaf-shaped foliage. The midsummer blooms develop a rosy-pink hue in the fall as the leaves turn deep red-bronze. Tan-brown exfoliating bark is attractive in the winter. An excellent landscape specimen or foundation plant. Useful as a flowering hedge plant. Deciduous.
LIGHT    Partial sun
WATERING    Water when top 2 inches of soil is dry.
BLOOMS    Midsummer
MATURE SIZE    Moderate growing; reaches 4 to 5 ft. tall, 5 to 6 ft. wide.

'Queen of Hearts' -- selected for its large, upright inflorescences and heavy
flowering.

Height and width: 6.5 feet tall and 9 feet wide at 10 years.
Habit: Medium, deciduous, rounded shrub.
Foliage: Dark green in summer; mahogany-red in fall.
Flowers: In early summer, ‘Queen of Hearts’ is covered with 9-inch-long
inflorescences that are held upright above the foliage. Flowers open white and then
slowly age to a deep pink color.

'Alice' -- Is most noted for its large, arching flower panicles (10-14" long), its usually disease-free foliage and its superior fall color.  Large pyramidal flower panicles feature mostly sterile white flowers in June which bloom for 6-8 weeks, gradually fading to pink and then brown by late summer.  Distinctive, deeply-lobed, somewhat coarse, deep green, oak-like leaves (to 8" long) turn attractive shades of bronze, maroon and purple in autumn. Mature stems exfoliate to reveal a rich brown inner bark which is attractive in winter.  Can grow 5-8 feet tall and wide
