Alocasia frydek is a stunning aroid that displays velvety dark green leaves with stark white veining. It is commonly grown as a houseplant but grows outdoors in tropical climates. Like most Alocasia, keeping alocasia frydek happy can be tricky, but its foliage makes the challenge worthwhile.
Along with warm temperatures; bright, indirect light; and an airy, acidic potting mix, these tropical aroids need moisture and high humidity, or they will suffer in dry environments and during prolonged periods of drought.
Note that, like other Alocasia, this houseplant is toxic to people and pets
