Ficus Moclame

Also known as Ficus Microcarpa or Ficus Daniella, is an ornamental evergreen tropical plant suited for both indoors and outdoors, it has lovely glossy oval leaves that are capable of absorbing airborne toxins from the surrounding environment. Like its sibling, the Ficus lyrata or fiddle leaf fig the Moclame Ficus plant needs lots of light too, plan on placing it in an east, west or south facing window. Outdoors is great for patio, porch, or decks preferably under shade but it can withstand direct sunlight as well, customers in the northern climates may enjoy this beauty outdoors during spring to fall, but must be brought inside once night temps drop to low 40s.

Ficus Moclame Daniella is among the oldest plants used as houseplants worldwide. As a houseplant, Ficus is very popular, able to adapt and endure low light conditions and generally poor treatment, this tree is a winner indoors. We do recommend to provide as much light as possible, keep away from cold and air drafts in winter, keep the soil lightly to moderately moist.
