The D.D. Blanchard Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora 'D.D. Blanchard') is a large, evergreen Southern Magnolia cultivar known for its big, fragrant white flowers, large glossy green leaves with rusty undersides, and a classic pyramidal shape, growing 50-70 feet tall and 20-35 feet wide in zones 7-9, making it excellent as a specimen tree or privacy screen in full sun to partial shade. It's a moderate grower that prefers moist, well-drained soil and offers excellent resilience to heat, humidity, and deer.
