Large double flowers are produced just above the ferny green leaves on this non-hardy bulb. Ideal for use as a bedding plant in northern climates and as a perennial in USDA zone 7 and warmer. They prosper in full sun and adequate moisture during the growing season in well drained soils. In naturalized settings, a drier dormancy is required.
