Everleaf Genovese basil is a compact variety of basil with a strong flavor that's great for cooking, pesto, and sauces. It's a good choice for container or in-ground gardens, and is bred for continual harvesting
Features: Compact, with short internodes and excellent branching. Leaves are glossy, cupped, and typically two to three inches lon
Growth: Grows to a height of 18–24 in and a width of 12–18 in
- Harvesting: Pinch away leaves as needed, and more will appear throughout the season.
- Flavor: Retains its robust flavor well through cooking.
- Bloom time: Flowers up to eight weeks later than standard basil varieties. Resistance: Resistant to downy mildew and Fusarium.
- Basil grows best in warm (75ºF–85ºF) soil that's evenly moist, and in full sun. It can tolerate some shade in hot climates
