Anthurium clarinervium is an aroid with gorgeous dark leaves and white veins. Young leaves start lighter and grow darker green as they mature. It's endemic to southern Mexico. It's epiphytic. which means it lives on trees or other plants. It derives its water and nutrients from the air, rain and debris that might be lying around.
Because of this natural habitat, a regular living room can pose a challenge for this beautiful species, since it prefers a higher humidity then the avarage living room has to offer. Yet they seem to do very well as house plants, and because they're epiphytic, they don't need that much care!
