Asparagus plumosus
| DESCRIPTION | Though not a true fern, this houseplant delights with its soft, very fine, fern-like foliage. Naturally a twining climber, it can be staked and allowed to grow, or kept cut back to a more compact size. Small greenish-white bell-shaped flowers bloom from spring to fall, and may be followed by small green berries that blacken with age. A fast-growing, easy-care houseplant. Excellent in containers. Can be grown in the landscape where hardy. Evergreen. |
