Agapanthus africanus

Attractive, deep blue flower clusters on stalks above clumping, narrow, strap-like, evergreen foliage. Effective in groups to create a lush tropical effect. Occasionally reblooms, if spent flower stems are promptly removed. A good container plant in colder areas or perennial color accent in outdoor beds where winters are milder.

'Baby Pete' -- This unique compact variety blooms weeks earlier than others! Masses of blue flower clusters on upright stems rise just above clumps of short and wide, strap-like, green leaves. Rarely sets seed pods, resulting in a longer bloom period. Splendid along pathways, or in groupings and mixed containers. Evergreen.  Foliage reaches 12 to 15 in. tall, 18 to 24 in. wide; blooms 18 to 24 in. tall.
