DESCRIPTION	A slender trunk topped by a striking, five-foot-wide crown holding clusters of rich, burgundy-red, sword-like leaves. Heat and drought tolerant when established in the landscape. A superb specimen plant for the landscape or patio containers. Evergreen in frost-free climates; treat as a summer annual or houseplant in cold winter regions.
LIGHT	Full sun, Partial sun
WATERING	Water when soil surface is dry.
BLOOMS	Occasionally in early summer.
MATURE SIZE	Forms slender 5 ft. trunk topped with 3 to 5 ft. wide crown of foliage.
