Wichita pecan tree/Carya Illinoensis
The Wichita pecan tree produces medium soft-shell pecans. It's also a good pollinator for Pawnee and Sioux. Requires full sun and well-draining soil, and can reach 30 ft. tall, 20 ft. wide. It is drought tolerant, thriving with deep and infrequent watering.
