Euphorbia wakefieldii is a shrub-like spiny euphorbia native to Kenya. Stems start of small and succulent but the main stem will eventually form a woody trunk. Like other members of the family, this euphorbia produces skin-irritating latex sap that can be toxic if ingested, so take care to wear proper protection when handling.
Care of Euphorbia wakefieldii:
Sun to partial shade, temp, 40 to 100 degrees, 18 to 24 in tall, allow to get dry between watering.
Ideal range 65-80°F day/50-60°F night for Euphorbia wakefieldii.
Consistency is key; avoid drafts and heat sources for stable temps.
🌡️ Watch for wilting or crispy leaves as signs of temperature stress.
