Pteris cretica
From relatively high elevations of the Hubei Province of China comes a hardier selection than the typical species. Ribbon-like fronds start in a low mound before shooting upwards, creating a strong verticle accent. Best grown in partial shade where it will form an upright, grass-like clump, but also ideal for a container on a shaded terrace, or even in the home near a bright but not sunny window. Evergreen.
