The monkey tail cactus (Cleistocactus colademononis or Hildewintera colademononis) is a striking, easy-to-grow succulent with long, hair-like spines resembling a monkey's tail, making it a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor settings.
A South American evergreen Cactus, tails can grow up to 8 feet long, likes porous or sandy soil and can tolerate temps to 28 F. It blooms (Red, Pink, Orange) spring to summer, and is not winter hardy for our area.
