Berberis thunbergii 'Orange Rocket' PP #18,411

Vibrant coral-orange new foliage ages to a medium green, then turns ruby red in autumn. This award-winning, compact shrub has a vigorous upright growth habit and improved resistance to rust. Use to brighten the landscape in mass plantings, as a specimen plant, or in a container. Deciduous.

Thrives in average, well-drained soil; avoid poorly drained, wet sites. Best color in full sun. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Fertilize before new growth begins in spring. No pruning necessary except to maintain desired shape.

WATER: Water when top 3 inches of soil is dry.
